Day 1

The first day of the challenge we started with my wife has come:

Since today is Sunday we were very lazy and we didn't really got out of the bed until noon, this was not going well because as we discovered our fridge was empty. We had some cheese and bread therefore my dear wife decided to make grilled cheese sandwich. I only had one since she calls grilled cheese sandwich to a fried cheese sandwich; I like it better baked. But she beat me to the kitchen, and that means that she gets to make whatever she wants. So the brunch for today was:


Brunch: Grilled Cheese Sandwich (Holly's style) and tea (me) water (Holly)

Ingredients: butter, bread (sliced), cheese.
Instructions: butter the pan and one side of the bread and "grill" place the cheese and the other slice bread on top (buttered side outside) wait a little while and flip. Continue till is done serve and eat.

After that we decided to go restock our fridge at the local HEB there we bought cereal (for quick breakfast during the week) almond milk for her and soy milk for me. We also got some crackers and roistered chicken salad that was our dinner. We got fruits (banana, kiwi, grapes) some veggies(broccoli and carrots) some biscuits and eggs for slow breakfasts and lean cuisine microwave oven food (less than 500 cal per container). We also got soda (just a 12 pack of cans) and new taper-ware to take care of the future leftovers.

Dinner: chicken salad (bought at HEB) and crackers
this one we only ate with tea and water.
